Staff accident insurance

All full-time and part-time members of staff are insured against death resulting from an accident anywhere in the world effective 24 hours year round.

The University will pay the proceeds of the policy to the staff member's named beneficiary or in the absence of such nomination, will make payment to the personal representative of the deceased.

The Accident Insurance Policy is complex and diverse. For further information, please visit the University Insurance website.

University staff may be entitled to WorkCover benefits if injured while on University business within or beyond Australia.
