Overview
The ESOS Act and associated National Code place obligations on all providers of courses to overseas students in Australia. Following the ESOS Evaluation, the National Code is being revised as a set of standards. The workshop will examine the major risks for ESOS compliance, current interpretations and projected issues in light of the anticipated changes.
Intended Outcomes
To better understand:
- The key ESOS issues and associated obligations
- The projected changes to the National Code
- The management of Compliance prior to and following these changes
- Monash ESOS policies and procedures
Course Content
The session will include:
- The top 10 ESOS risk areas
- Summary of revised National Code draft standards
- Exploration of compliance impact
