The Welcome to Monash program has three sessions which address three Monash areas for professional, research and education staff.
8:45am - Session 1 This session officially welcomes staff to Monash. Senior executive and other Monash staff will speak on a wide range of topics which will include:
- About Monash University
- Internationalisation at Monash
- Indigenous Engagement at Monash
- Professional Conduct
- Multicultural and multi-campus nature of the institution and importantly, services and facilities available to staff and students
During morning tea, you will have the opportunity to put names to faces and make a start on your own Monash network
10:15am- Session 2 Topics that will be covered:
- Education at Monash
- Environmental Substainability
- Research at Monash
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Education session
Light refreshment will be served.
12:15- Session 3 Topics that will be covered:
- Monash Research
- Monash Research Graduate School
- Industry Engagement and Commercialisation
- Break out session (with Associate Deans (Research), Associate Deans (Research Training) and Faculty Research Administrators)
Program Closes at 2:00pm.

Presentations conducted on 18 March 2011 are available. As Staff Development is going green we encourage participants to only print if absolutely necessary, and to print double sided.
