Creating web pages Monash environment

One day program

Target group:

Academic and general staff responsible for maintaining content on the web for sites that have not transferred to the TeamSite - content management system

This does cover use of WebCT

Group size: Minimum 5 - Maximum 10

Aim:

To provide the skills and knowledge to create web pages for the Monash environment using FrontPage 2003 or DreamWeaver MX.

Objectives:

On completion of this course participants should:

  • Be familiar with the design and technical components of the Monash Web templates
  • Be familiar with basic editing functions in FrontPage 2003 or DreamWeaver MX
  • Be able to create Web pages using the Monash Web templates
  • Be able to convert Word documents in to Web pages
  • Be able to publish web page files on the Monash web server using WinSCP
