Overview
This course is designed to introduce users to Acrobat, a powerful e-document creation and editing programme.
Intended Outcomes
To enable you to convert, edit and optimise existing documents for electronic distribution and publishing.
Course Content
On completion of this course participants will be able to:
- understand the components of the Acrobat suite of programs, including Acrobat, Catalogue, Distiller and Reader
- understand the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods of creating PDFs
- use Acrobat to perform Web page captures
- control the viewing options for recipients of the PDF
- control the security options
- create bookmarks and thumbnails
- create and edit hyperlinks both within a PDF document and to other documents and the Web
- insert pages and graphics into existing PDF documents
- edit text and move objects within pages
