University Rest Rooms - Disability Liaison Unit (DLU)

The University has several rest rooms on campus. Rest Rooms are available to students and staff who have a disability or medical condition and need a quiet private room to rest. Rooms can be used for a maximum of 3 hours per booking.

To access a rest room please contact the Disability Liaison Unit (DLU).

To ensure a Rest Room is available when required, please make a booking (except for the Campus Centre).

Rest Room Locations & Bookings:

Berwick

There are no rest rooms at Berwick. However, the Quiet Room is located in Room 145, Building 901 and is available to all students to access. No booking is required. 

Caulfield campus

Rest room is located in Building S Room 2.33
Key is available from Building S level 2 information desk

Clayton campus

3 rooms are available on the Clayton campus,

1.  The Campus Centre Rest Room is located on the ground floor, Room G78, via the parenting room. There is no booking system so first check that the room is not already in use. The keys can be collected (in exchange for your student card) from reception at the nearby Health Service.

2.  The Matheson Library Rest Room is located on level 1, room 127. To book the room please contact Mr Peter Reynolds on: 9905 1128.

3.  The Menzies Building Rest Room is located on level 6, room 655. This room can be booked at DLU Reception:

Gippsland campus

Rest room is located in Building 3W room 118
Bookings and access can be made through the Disability Liaison Unit at Health Wellbeing and Development 3N 102

Linen:

Lockers are available so you may store your own linen/sleeping bag when using the room on a regular basis. Disposable sheeting/pillow covers are available for students and staff who only use the room occasionally and are unable to anticipate when this might be.
