Meal planning - Nutrition Australia

This presentation is designed to assist with the day-to-day planning of individual and family meals and includes strategies for healthy eating when dining out. It also offers idea for managing the 5pm rush and keeping motivated to prepare meals rather than relying on take away!

Monash School Holiday Program

Your child will love the fun, exciting activities at MUSHP, and you can relax - knowing that they are in the safe, experienced hands of a service offering exceptional quality care to the university and local community. MUSHP activities include swimming, indoor and outdoor sport, water polo, adventure days, cinema, science, cooking, drama and music, art and craft.

The program will run from 29th March - 9th April (excluding 2nd - 6th April).  Enrolments close Monday 15th March. For more information visit the webpage here.

This two day course for Monash staff covers helping people in mental health crisis situations and/or in the early stages of mental health problems.

Spirituality in the Workplace staff lunch - Clayton

The theme for our first Spirituality in the Workplace lunch for 2010 is: 'Work, Life, Spirit - finding balance'.  Our guest speaker and facilitator for the lunch conversation will be Dr Anne Bardoel, Associate Professor in the Department of Management, Faculty of Business and Economics.

Anne currently heads the Work Life Research Program, which is part of the Australian Centre for Research in Employment and Work (ACREW). She is recognised as one of Australia's leading researchers in the work/life area and teaches a popular graduate elective unit on Work, Family and Life. All staff and postgraduate students welcome.

Sleep education program

Wellbeing at Monash is offering staff the opportunity to attend a 1 hour sleep education program during April. Topics will include:

- sleep health
- common sleep problems
- consequences of poor sleep/sleep deprivation
- strategies to improve sleep health

Assoc/Prof. Gerard Kenndy from the MMC Sleep Psychology Clinic will conduct the program. Participants will be invited to attend in depth seminars that cover the above topics in the weeks afterwards.
