11 November 2009 | The HR Calendar now includes the 2010 dates for: University and non-University holidays, Pay days, Pay periods, Payroll processing deadlines and end of year HR paperwork deadlines
Payroll and staff-related deadlines for end of year closedown
10 November 2009 | The last working day for the university this year will be Tuesday, 22 December 2009.
The university will re-open in 2010 on Monday, 4 January 2010.

The Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Exceptional Performance by Professional Staff
13 July 2009 | The Vice-Chancellor offers annual awards in recognition of exceptional performance by members of professional staff which are equivalent to the Vice-Chancellor's awards for distinguished teaching. A total amount of around $20,000 will be distributed amongst recipients of the awards, with individual amounts being determined by the selection committee. The awards will be presented by the Vice-Chancellor and further recognition given by a permanent citation on the General Staff Awards website. ... [More]
The Human Resources Division is moving
19 June 2009 | The HR Division Client Satisfaction Survey was launched on Monday 16 March 2009 and was open for two weeks. An invitation to participate in the survey was made to all Monash University’s staff in Victoria via a global email. Special invitations were made to the HR community in the Faculties/Divisions/Units and all staff of the HR Division. A total of 787 staff responded to the survey and a detailed analysis of the demographics of the respondents is included in the survey report.... [More]

HR Briefing Sessions, March 2009

The objective of these sessions is to provide information on new or revised policies and procedures, the introduction of new staff schemes and other, general HR topics of interest together with providing a forum for discussion and feedback for the Human Resources Division.
Victorian Bushfire Appeal
10 February 2009 | Staff donations to the Australian Red Cross - Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund are available via Workplace Giving.
The facility to deduct the donation directly from staff pay will be available from Pay F18 to Pay F20. A donation to the Monash University – Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund will not attract or affect administration fees.
