HR Business Partners
Your local HR Business Partner is available to provide strategic and operational HR support and will act as your liaison with the HR Centres of Expertise.
They can provide practical assistance with and/or advice on a range of topics:
- academic strengthening activities including:
- ERA compliance,
- support for the probation process
- guide academic supervisors to ensure academic staff have documented performance standards which they are assessed against on a regular basis
- solutions for strategic and operational HR issues to assist the business to meet its objectives
- all aspects of recruitment including job design, position descriptions, classifications, advertising, relocation assistance, visa coordination, interviews etc
- other appointments including adjuncts, re-appointments, contract renewals
- workforce planning and restructuring including monitoring EFT and staffing level
- creation and implementation of local induction plans
- performance planning and development cycle
- creating positive working environments
- conflict management, underperformance management and conduct management
- implementing new initiatives of Monash HR including online systems
- staff departures including exit interviews
