Applicants to undergraduate courses at Monash University must take careful note of the instructions below before completing an application for admission to the University.

Who can use this form?

This form is for:

• Australian citizens
• New Zealand citizens
• Permanent residents of Australia
• Permanent humanitarian visa holders
• International students wishing to study via off campus learning while living outside of Australia.

International students wishing to come to Australia to study, must apply through International Recruitment Services.

Applying for a range of courses managed by different faculties

If you are applying for a number of courses that are managed by different faculties, you must submit a separate application form and supporting documentation to each faculty, including all of your course preferences on each copy.

To identify the faculty that manages your intended course(s), use the Monash CourseFinder. For each course, the managing faculty is given on the Course Finder 'Course Overview' page. If you haven't already, you might like to check the course entry requirements while you are there.

When to use this form in application for undergraduate courses?

• Undergraduate courses open for mid-year applications (for commencement in July of that year). Courses accepting mid-year applications are listed on the Mid-Year Admissions website from April each year.
• Undergraduate courses listed in the VTAC Guide that have opened for direct entry (see the VTAC website in February of each year).

When not to use this form in application for undergraduate courses?

Do not use this form to apply for undergraduate courses listed in the VTAC Guide as these courses use the VTAC application process for selecting students for semester 1 (February) commencement. Applicants for courses listed in the VTAC Guide must submit their application via VTAC when the application process begins in August each year. Please visit the VTAC website for more information.

Submitting your application form

• If you are applying for a number of courses managed by different faculties, submit a separate application form to each faculty you are applying to but include all of your preferences on each form.
• The closing dates for applications and postal addresses for the each faculty can be found on the Application closing date and postal address link.
• Many courses have additional course application requirements. To check whether your course of interest has additional requirements, locate your course on the Application instructions link.
• Applicants whose previous study was at institutions other than Monash University or Monash College must submit certified copies of all documents with each application. Original documents are accepted but will not be returned.
